英语的重要性 The Importance of English
In China, almost all students learn English, no matter they are pupils or undergraduates. Some people think that there is no need for Chinese to learn English, because after graduation, it is no use at all. I don't think so. English is the most widely used language in the world, and most business letters are written in English. With the deepening of reform and opening up, our Chinese and foreign exchanges increase greatly, so English must be the necessity. Besides, learning English well can help us better learn the advanced experience from foreign countries. It's beneficial for us to service our nation. In addition, learning English is a quite funny thing which enable us to explore a wider world.
在中国，几乎所有的学生都学英语，不管他们是在校生或是即将毕业。有的人认为中国人学习英语是没有必要的，因为毕业后英语一点用也没有了。我不这么认为。英语是世界上使用最广泛的语言，大部分的商务信函都是用英语写的。随着改革开放的深入，中国和外国之间的交流更多了，所以英语是必要的。此外，学好英语可以帮助我们更好地学习国外经验。对我们报效祖国是有好处的。另外，学习英语是件很有趣的事，它能使我们开拓更宽广的世界。
