　　With the rapid development of high technology, more and more people are access to computers. Different people have different purposes on using the Internet. But they have a common purpose—make friends. When it comes to make friends online, some people think it has great advantages, while others consider it is harm to human beings. In my opinion, everything has two sides. I agree with both of them. The reasons are as follow.

　　随着高新技术的迅猛发展，越来越多的人使用电脑。不同的人上网的目的不同。但他们有一个共同的目的就是交朋友。说到网上交朋友时，有些人认为它具有很大的优势，而另一些人则认为对人类是有危害的。在我看来，任何事物都有两面。他们两个的观点我都同意。原因如下。

　　First of all, making friends online can broaden our vision. People on the Internet are from different places or even different countries. Making friends with various people helps you learn different culture, customs, and living style and so on. It’s such a great thing that making friends can make someone becomes more knowledgeable. So why not? However, its disadvantage still exists. Some people focus too much attention on net friends, ignoring the real world. As a result, they may have fewer and fewer friends in their reality life. Gradually they will feel being isolated or depressed. That is not good for people’s mental health. After all, reality is the most important one.

　　首先，网上交友可以拓宽我们的视野。网上的人都是来自不同地方甚至不同国家的。与不同的人交朋友可以帮助了解不同的文化，风俗习惯，生活方式等等。交朋友可以让人变得更渊博是多么棒的一件事啊。何乐而不为呢？ 然而，其弊端仍然存在。有些人把过多的精力放在网上交友上，而忽视了现实世界。因此，他们在现实生活中的朋友可能会变得越来越少。慢慢你的他们会感到孤独或抑郁。这不利于人们的心理健康。毕竟，现实是最重要的。

　　To sum up, being the outcome of intelligence, it is a great progress of society. But every coin has two sides. We need to control ourselves appropriately. Do not overwhelm. In other words, we can make friends on line but can not indulge in it. Using the Internet properly can make benefit for all people.

　　总之，网上交友是智力的产物，是社会的一大进步。但是事物都有两面性。我们需要适当的控制自己。不要过度。这意味着我们可以在网上交朋友，却不能沉迷于它。正确利用网络可以为所有人带来利益。
